Anbirkiniyal (Keerthi Pandian) is the chirpiest person on her street. Every morning, she’s buzzing about; chatting merrily with workers, pulling the leg of a grandmother who lives nearby and chiding her father for secretly taking a smoke.
We had earlier reported that actor Vinoth Kishan of ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ fame and Keerthi Pandian, who made her debut in Thumbaa, are going to team up for a romantic comedy that will be directed by debutant Giri Murphy. Now, the team has kick started the shooting for the film with an official pooja today.
Actress Keerthi Pandian‘s look from her upcoming film Anbirkiniyal was released by the makers today on the occasion of her birthday. Keerthi is seen as an employee at a fast food joint. The survival thriller is directed by Gokul Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara’ fame and the first look and title was released only recently. Interestingly, Keerthi Pandian’s real life father and actor Arun Pandian will be playing the role her father in the film as well.
Veteran actor Arun Pandian and his daughter Keerthi Pandian are teaming up for the Tamil remake of Anna Ben’s critically acclaimed Malayalam film Helen which was directed by Mathukutty Xavier. The title and the first look poster of the film were launched on Monday by actor Karthi. Directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame, the film has been titled Anbirkiniyal.

Recently, the entertainment portal IndiaGlitz revealed that Keerthi Pandian has started preparing for her role in the upcoming film. The pre-production work on the Keerthi Pandian starrer started back in February 2020 and has been allegedly progressing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Long before making her acting debut with the recently-released Thumbaa, Keerthi Pandian was happily managing her father, actor-politician Arun Pandian’s business, which involved distributing films overseas. But the idea of getting into acting in movies was always there.
Stories written around animals have traditionally proven to result in safe films. We have seen films around dogs, elephants and monkeys, but in last week’s release, Thumbaa, young actors Darshan and Keerthi Pandian shared screen space with a computer-generated tiger. “Puli-a paathaale oru geththu irukkum. If I had to be born a wild animal, I’d want nothing better than to live as a tiger,” says Darshan. Keerthi likes lions better. “I even have a tattoo of one on my back. Lionesses are emotional; I think of it as my soul animal,” she says.
